  • You’ll help support the event, artists, and child-sponsorship partners.
  • Expect to be on your feet, moving around, and interacting with guests.
  • A representative of the event’s child-sponsorship partner will provide instructions related to volunteer activities once you arrive.
  • You’ll serve, meet great people, and enjoy the show throughout the night.
  • No prior experience needed — just a great attitude and willingness to help!

Volunteer Requirements

Age Requirement

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Any individual who is known or reasonably believed to be under 18 will not be permitted to participate. Concert Connection and the child-sponsorship partner reserve the right to request proof of age at their discretion.

Physical Requirements

Volunteers are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods, moving quickly when necessary, and navigating stairs or large venues.

Volunteer Responsibilities

Volunteer roles center around helping the event’s child-sponsorship partner. Depending on the needs for that night, you may help with:

  • Sponsorship table support (answering questions, helping guests understand the process)
  • Passing out child sponsorship packets during intermission & at the end of the show
  • Collecting completed packets and assisting guests through the sign-up steps
  • Helping attendees find open sponsorship packets that match their interests
  • Guiding guests to the correct table or rep when they’re ready to sponsor
  • Cheering on and celebrating new sponsors throughout the night
  • Light line flow awareness to help guests find sponsorship areas easily
  • Supporting the child-sponsorship partner with any simple administrative tasks related to sponsorships
You’ll receive a quick, clear walkthrough of your assignment from the event’s child-sponsorship partner as soon as you arrive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring someone with me who is under 18?

No. We are only able to admit registered volunteers who are 18 years or older. Children and unregistered guests are not permitted.

Can my volunteer participation be canceled?

Yes. Concert Connection reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deny, cancel, or revoke volunteer participation at any time, with or without prior notice or cause, including but not limited to conduct concerns, venue restrictions, capacity limitations, or failure to comply with volunteer policies. Registration does not guarantee participation or event access.

Can I sign up friends or family to volunteer with me?

Each person must register individually using their own name, email, phone number, and zip code so we can communicate directly with each volunteer. If you need help registering multiple people using the same contact info, email info@ccvolunteers.org.

What about group sign-ups?

We love groups! Email info@ccvolunteers.org with the city you want to serve in and your group size, and we’ll help you get everyone added.

If I have volunteered with Concert Connection before, do I need to sign up again?

Yes. Every volunteer must complete a new registration for each individual event, even if you’ve volunteered with us or our partners in the past.

If I would like to sign up for more than one show, do I need to sign up again?

Yes. You must register separately for each specific event using the Eventbrite link for that show.

Do I need to register for each individual event?

Yes. Volunteers must register separately for each specific event using the Eventbrite link for that show. Walk-ups and unregistered volunteers cannot be guaranteed entry or participation.

Do volunteers receive free tickets?

A volunteer spot does not include a traditional ticketed seat. However, unless the venue is fully sold out, volunteers may have access to a designated seating area to enjoy the show between serving moments.

Is volunteer seating guaranteed?

Volunteer seating is not guaranteed and depends on venue availability. Seating logistics are coordinated onsite by the child-sponsorship partner and may change at any time.

Will food and drink be provided?

No. Food and beverages are not provided by Concert Connection or the child-sponsorship partner. Volunteers should plan accordingly and review the venue’s official website for food options and policies.

Is there a dress code?

Dress comfortably in closed-toe shoes suitable for standing and walking for extended periods. We recommend comfortable clothing and dressing in layers (arenas can be hot or cold).

Will I have to go through security?

Yes. Volunteers must comply with standard venue security screening procedures, which may include bag checks or metal detectors. Outside food or beverages may not be permitted by the venue.

What if I am running late?

Late arrival is not guaranteed entry. If you are running late, contact your on-site rep via TEXT ONLY (no phone calls) to let them know. Due to venue and event-partner requirements, late arrivals may not be permitted to volunteer.

What if I can no longer fulfill my commitment to volunteer?

Please email info@ccvolunteers.org as soon as possible so we can find someone to take your place.

What if I can’t walk up and down stairs or meet the physical requirements?

Due to the nature of these events, volunteers must be able to stand for long periods and navigate stairs or large venues. If you are unable to meet the physical requirements, you may not be permitted to volunteer or enter the event.

Do I need to know anything about the child-sponsorship program beforehand?

No prior knowledge is required. You’ll receive clear instructions from the child-sponsorship partner onsite when you arrive.

Is parking provided?

Concert Connection does not provide or validate event parking and is not responsible for parking availability or fees. Be sure to allow plenty of extra time for parking so you can arrive at check-in on time.

How important is it to arrive on time?

Extremely important! On-time arrival is required to volunteer. Arrival timing is based on when the venue and child-sponsorship partner are prepared to receive volunteers. If you arrive late, entry cannot be guaranteed and your volunteer role may be impacted due to venue and event-partner requirements. Plan to arrive a few minutes early — parking can be unpredictable and we want your experience to be smooth!

Who is my on-site contact, and where do I go?

Once you register, you’ll receive event updates via email and text. On show day, we’ll send you the venue-provided entrance, check-in location, and on-site contact name + phone number for administrative coordination only. For any additional administrative questions, contact info@ccvolunteers.org.

Who do I contact with more questions?

Email info@ccvolunteers.org and our team will respond quickly.
